What are your opening and closing times?

Our opening and closing times change throughout the year to match sunrise and sunset. For the most accurate and up-to-date information, please visit our official Ashmoor Lakes website. This is the only source where you’ll find the most current details, as we update it first whenever there are changes.

For current opening and closing times, click the OPENING TIMES tab in the menu.

How do I pay for a ticket to fish?

You don’t need to pre-book your ticket. Simply arrive at the fishing location and start fishing. At some point during your visit, a member of the fishery staff will come around to collect the ticket payment. Please note that they only accept cash, so make sure to bring enough with you.

I've arrived after opening hours, but the gate is closed. Is the fishery closed?

No, the fishery is open. Please exit your vehicle, open the gate, and drive through. Once you have entered, make sure to close the gate behind you to maintain security.

Where’s the Best Place to Fish?

At Ashmoor, all the lakes are connected by underground pipes, allowing the fish to move freely between them. This means there's no single "best" spot to fish or a particular lake where the biggest catches are guaranteed. The largest fish could be lurking anywhere, so every lake has the potential to surprise you!
